A Warm Welcome Awaits You at our New Exhibition If all the world were paper and all the sea were ink... Northern Print is proud to showcase the work of our own talented studio artists this November and we would be delighted if you would join us for a special preview evening next week to launch the seasonal festivities.  Taking its theme from the popular nonsense rhyme If all the world were paper... , the exhibition features over 50 striking pieces from landscapes to more abstract work and figurative designs.  The breadth of work demonstrates a wealth of printmaking techniques from screenprinting to etching, collagraph and linocut and with prices starting at £40 there is sure to be a print to suit every pocket. We are delighted to announce that If all the world were paper... will be supported by our friends at: Bishop Skinner Insurance Brokers Ltd. Reid Framing We would like to thank these local businesses for their valued support which has enabled us to offer purchase prizes for this exhibition  in order to support and encourage regional artists. The prizes will be awarded at the special preview event on Wednesday 19 November at 6pm-8pm when we hope that you will be able to join us for drinks and lively conversation. com a.m.f. – associação massa falida, Arthur Chaves, Eduardo Montelli, Fernanda Ribeiro, Flavia Junqueira, , Ismael Monticelli, Jonas Arrabal, Marcone Moreira, Mayra Martins Redin e Tiago Cadete. A exposição, com curadoria de Raphael Fonseca reúne trabalhos que pensam a respeito da percepção de que aquela casa que um dia chamamos de "nossa", repentinamente é percebida como o espaço dos "nossos pais". Nesse sentido, através de linguagens como o vídeo, a fotografia e a escrita, se reflete sobre a passagem do tempo, a suposta entrada na "vida adulta" e a vontade de voltar a uma configuração dos espaços familiares que, possivelmente, não tem caminho de volta. Clique aqui e saiba mais!
